Menu Plan Monday....June 14

Good morning, everyone!  :)

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Ours was filled with a baseball tournament.  The boys played great and should be proud of their hard work.  The tournament was close to home, so it didn't wreak havoc on our budget because we were able to come home for meals.  (I didn't even have to pack any meals, because of the game times, which was a HUGE plus!)

Here is what I am planning for the week:

MONDAY:  Turkey on Byerly's buns and homemade easy oven fries

TUESDAY:  Pizza Burgers

WEDNESDAY:  Spaghetti with Rinaldi's Sweet and Tasty Tomato Sauce and Homemade Meatballs

THURSDAY:  Turkey Soft Tacos

FRIDAY:  Ham and Cheese Rollups

Well, there it is....I find that I make the same things over and over again.  But, when I find meals that my family likes....I tend to stick with them. I love trying new things, but get tired of turned up noses!  Maybe I should try one new meal a week, and then add it into a rotation or something....

How about you?  Do you stick to the same old meals?  How often do you try new recipes?

If you haven't joined me on Facebook, you might want to....I love to share extras on there too!  Maybe I can even let you know whether I stick with my menu plan on there!!

3 comments make me happy:

  1. a normal week for me means at least seven new recipes or ideas. ;)

I make sure to include at least one family favorite per day, but the other meals and/or snacks are open for new options. It's how we find our new favorites and how I expand my repertoire.

  2. Wow, Michelle!!! Good for you! :) Now that summer is here, and I am not homeschooling, maybe I can venture out a little more with the hoard of recipes that I have saved! LOL!!!
Thanks for taking the time to comment this morning! :)

  3. i too have a hoard of recipes. My hubby is the pickiest one in our house so I usually only add in one or two new recipes a week. Good Luck
