Last year, we actually sent our Christmas cards before Christmas. I think some of our friends and family fell over! We have been known, on many occasions, to send Happy New Years' cards instead, because I haven't wanted to stress out about sending them on time. One year, I skipped Christmas AND New Year's cards and actually waited and sent Valentine's Day cards. The nice thing about that, is that your card doesn't get lost in the barrage of cards people are receiving, and they might linger longer on your family's card! LOL!!
This year, thanks to Shutterfly, I might actually be on time again, with our Christmas wishes to friends and family! Shutterfly has SO many cute cards to choose from!!! The prices are reasonable too.
For our family, it is important to make mention of the real reason we celebrate...the birth of Jesus Christ.
Shutterfly has many cards specifically mentioning a Christian Christmas. But they also have many choices for Happy Holiday cards, and even custom invitations and gift tags.
Here are a few of my favorites:
I love the color scheme which goes really well with the clothes this family is wearing!
This next one, is great because it actually has part of the Christmas story on it...
There is something I like though, about traditional red for my Christmas cards (and I love it with the black & white photograph):
I will have to peruse through the many hundreds of options and figure out which card will work the best for our family this year. I might need to first find the photograph that might work, and then pick the right card to go along with it! :)
Thanks to Shutterfly, they offered me 50 free holiday photo cards, in exchange for taking a look at their site and sharing my thoughts about it with you! If you are a blogger, and would like to earn 50 free cards, click here to go to Shutterfly (and mention Clever 1000 as the referral source).
Do you get your Christmas or holiday cards out on time?

Haha That's a good one sending Valentines Cards! At least they get to the dear ones, right? We always send Christmas Cards 2-3 weeks prior to Christmas, but some of them get lost in the mail and i guess this year we'll back-up our cards with online cards:) This way we're sure they'll get there in case the real cards get lost in the mail:) Oh and I am now following you thanks to Meet Me Mondays, and it would be nice if you could share the love back on my blog;) Also don't forget, if you need any help increasing your blog's traffic or easy blog tutorials, you know where to come!
