Wow! Have things changed since I started this blog so many years ago! Huge updates (2025)... all of our boys are now married and we have 3 wonderful daughter-in-laws! We are also grandparents to our darling grandson, who is soon to be one year old! I left teaching 4 years ago and have joined my husband in helping clients buy and sell real estate! Because of the flexibility, I have the privilege of taking care of our grandson 3 days/week! 

I still LOVE a great bargain and try to live frugally...it's been engrained in me, lol! I often visit my blog so I can find my tried and true recipes! 

I may even try to give this blog an update, if I find the time and inspiration!

Hi, my name is Kathy, and I am a stay at home mom of 3 boys. My husband graciously goes to work every morning during the week so that I can be at home. I am trying my best to do my part 

“2 Make Ends Meet” for our family. It is NOT easy with 3 growing boys and all of the expenses that go along with that….food, clothing, SPORTS, etc.
I was an elementary teacher before we had our children.  My husband and I felt it was important for me to stay home at that point to raise our family.  Although I have taught, and still teach science, for our homeschool co-op, I consider myself a "stay at home" mom.
I homeschooled all of our boys at least through elementary school.  Our oldest is nearing completion of his first year of college (living on campus) our middle son is a junior at our public school, and our youngest is still home with me.
We are very thankful for the opportunity to have homeschooled, and are just as thankful for great teachers in our public schools where we live.
My hope is that this blog can be an encouragement to others out there who have the same concerns and challenges in your life, as you try "2 Make Ends Meet".
