Inbox Dollars...earning real rewards!

I wanted to highlight one of the many ways that I earn some real rewards online...Inbox Dollars.

If you have a little patience, you too, can earn real rewards.  Here is my latest reward from Inbox Dollars:

I have earned this reward by doing several things on the InboxDollars website including:
reading e-mails, taking surveys, entering WinIt codes, searching online, referring others and more.
I have not paid any money to earn these rewards! :)
It did take awhile to accumulate enough to cash out (must accumulate $30 in points) but if you have a little persistence, it can easily be done.

What can I do with InboxDollars eCards?

I chose to cash mine out for an Amazon gift card, as I use Amazon quite a bit!

There are many options to choose from through the Tango Card reward site.  If you would rather receive a check in the mail, that is an option as well (just takes a little longer).

Have any questions?  I would love to try and answer them for you!

Do you want to give InboxDollars a try?  You may sign up through myInboxDollar referral link right now, if you would like!  :)  If you choose to give it a try, you can even earn a $5 signup bonus! Pin It Print Friendly and PDF

Happy May Day....I think!...and the start of my birthday month! :)

I usually love May Day....but today just doesn't seem like it really could be the start of May!  As we left the house this morning, we had snow flurries!!  Yikes!  It's May 1st!

Things could be much worse, of course, and I am counting my blessings!

It still IS the start of May...my birthday month....and because I have signed up for a lot of birthday perks, I should start to see many offers in my inbox!

I got my first one today, from Red Robin.  A free hamburger meal has been added to my Red Robin rewards card.  Yay!  :)

I will expect to see many more including:

***Caribou Coffee

***Starbucks

***Culvers

***Noodles & Company

Those I know for sure, and I know there are probably more that will show up.

Kwik Trip Rewards Program

If you live in Minnesota or Wisconsin, you might want to look for a local Kwik Trip gas station and check out their reward program.  Now, I don't like to recommend to anyone that you should use a credit card.  They can cause a lot of trouble.  My husband and I thought a lot about getting the credit card for Kwik Trip, and decided if we used it wisely, we would benefit by having it.  You see, we buy 95% of our milk from Kwik Trip.  We buy the milk in half gallon bags and use the milk container provided by their store.  The milk is hormone free, by the way.  We save a TON of money buying our milk this way.  Currently the price per gallon to buy it this way is $1.78/gallon.  I know you can often buy milk at Cub, Rainbow and SuperTarget for low prices like this, but Kwik Trip's regular price is always low.  We also buy our gas at Kwik Trip, because we usually need to pick up milk anyway, so it makes most sense to buy it at the same time.  By applying for Kwik Trip's credit card, we receive 3 cents off per gallon of gas, and 10% back on in-store purchases (some items excluded, but not the ones we buy).  Therefore, every 3 months, we receive a rebate check that is between $25 -$30 to be used to buy gas and milk again!  In addition to this, they have a punch card for milk and orange juice.  Each 1/2 gallon you buy, you get a punch.  When you get 20 punches (10 gallons), you receive $1.00 off another gallon!
Back to using it wisely.....we would pay the entire balance off each month.  If we didn't do this, it would be silly to have it, as our finance charge would cancel out what we would be saving.
If you have a Kwik Trip gas station near you, and would like to check it out, go to their website here. Pin It Print Friendly and PDF

Free Things for your Friday

If you've been reading my earlier posts, you know that I love to get something for nothing.  Who doesn't???  :)  Sometimes though, you need to put a little effort into it!  One of the things I consider "a little effort" is that I receive LOTS of e-mail, because I have signed up for lots of programs.....BUT, I often reap the benefits.  Here is one of the benefits that I received in my inbox this morning, and I will share it with you... Free Taco @ Taco Bell .  They are promoting their "fresco" tacos, which have somewhat healthier ingredients in them.  When you order a soft drink, you receive a free fresco taco.  Give it a try this weekend!!!  :)

Another program that I am a part of is at Staples.  I signed up because of their ink recycling program.  I know there are other programs out there like this, but the toner cartridges my husband uses at work, aren't accepted for recycling at other places.  So, we tried to bring them back to Staples, and they recycled them for us!!!  Yay!  So, for every toner/ink cartridge we bring in we get $3 back each quarter.  There is a limit of 10 per quarter, which isn't a problem for us.  We get a nice check mailed to our home usually worth about $18.00!  This can be used like cash at Staples.  What a great deal!  If you want to check it out, go to Staples Rewards

My friend was excited that she was able to get free overnight shipping (on 3 or more ink products) when she ran out of her Epson ink cartridges, especially since we have had very cold and snowy weather this week.  She could stay home in her slippers, as she put it, while someone else did her shopping for her and delivered it to her doorstep!  You have to love that!!!!!  So if you have an Epson printer, you might want to check that out here at Epson.
