Target and Rainbow Deals....week of March 8

Last Saturday, I took advantage of Double Coupons at Rainbow Foods.  Wow!  What a difference it makes!  My favorite bargain was the Yoplus yogurt, 4 pack....Buy one for $2.69 and get one free.  Then  I had a $1 off coupon which doubled to $2.  Final price $.69 for two 4 packs!  Yay!  Now, that was last week, so don't try to do that this week (unless they still have the yogurt on sale!)  If you plan ahead a little, you can really cut a good chunk off of your costs.
The other thing I need to tell you about is how wonderful Rainbow customer service was to me.  I had purchased 3 Jack's pizzas for $1.88 each.  When I got home and checked my receipt (which I usually check before I leave the store) the pizzas had been charged at full price.  I called the store and the lady told me that the $1.88 price was with a coupon from their ad.  She kindly said, "we will save some coupons, and next time you are in, just let us know and we will credit the difference!!!"  Wow!!!  I went back an hour or so later, and they went ahead and gave me $6.03 back on my card.  So.....they made a very happy customer out of me!

Now for some Rainbow deals this week:
-Tampax or Always products 2/$5....use two $1 off coupons (from the Proctor & Gamble insert in Sunday's paper) and they can be doubled on Wednesday or Saturday....final price 2/$1

There are a lot of P&G products on sale at Rainbow this week.  Be sure to match up the coupons from the P&G insert on a Wednesday or Saturday, to take advantage of fabulous savings!

  1. Do you live in the Twin Cities? And does Rainbow double coupons all the time? I would consider a short road trip to a Rainbow if I knew I could save some $$$! Please let me know what you know about their coupon policies. Thanks!

  2. Hi Corrie!

Yes, I'm in the Twin Cities. The Rainbow Foods insert that I have this week states, "Saturday is also Double Manufacturers'Coupon Day through Sat. April 10, 2010. Don't forget you can still double your manufacturers' coupons every Wednesday throughout the entire year." You must spend $25 (before tax & coupons)to double them and there is a limit of 5 that can be doubled. The coupon face value is up to $1 to be doubled.
    I hope this helps!
Check with your local store though, just to be sure....http://www.rainbowfoods.com/
Keep checking back to my site for more deals, and pass the word along to others, so they can benefit too! :)
