Frugal Eyeglasses!!!!

I am SO excited!  :)

I finally have new glasses!  First time in about 16 years, I would say!  :)

The best part is that I paid less than $10 for them!
That included shipping them to my house!  :)

Woo hoo!

Now, just to let you know, I wear contact lenses.  But I wear my glasses in the morning and at night.  My glasses were so old!  I never wanted to be seen in them!  :)  Not that I ever want to be seen in my glasses...but, at least now I won't be so embarrassed!  LOL!!!  :)

Goggles 4 U Eyeglasses, I thought, "what do I have to lose?"  Ten dollars, if they don't work for me....but I sure have a lot to gain, if they do!

I uploaded a photo of myself and "tried on" several different frames.  I compared the measurements to my current glasses (and my teenagers) so that I could get a better idea if they would fit like I thought they would.

I found a pair I liked, and I entered my prescription and my pupil distance.  This is the part where it helps to have someone measure it for you.  It is important to get this correct, so the prescription lenses are focused in the correct place.
