What a fun weekend of basketball for our family!
All 3 boys played in tournaments this weekend, and all three of them came home with a trophy or medal. We got a chuckle out of the fact that they placed in birth order also...our oldest got 1st place, our middle son got 2nd place and our youngest took 3rd place! :D
Now, what should this mom feed these hungry boys this week? Here is my plan:
MONDAY: Spaghetti Pie
TUESDAY: Sloppy Josephs (because lean ground turkey is on sale at Target)--I will make enough to freeze enough for at least another meal
WEDNESDAY: Sandwiches, Diner's Choice (this is our "church night" meal)
THURSDAY: Crock Pot Chili
FRIDAY: Scalloped (Creamed) Potatoes with Ham
This is what we had on Christmas Day. It is a childhood tradition. I was so pleased with how they turned out (it's usually my mother that makes them)! I will have to write up the recipe and post it later on.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY: I usually don't write up a menu plan because we typically have take-out pizza on Saturday nights. Sunday is often YOYO (you're on your own), or perhaps, if I'm feeling ambitious, I will make Surprise Pancakes.
